Can you believe it! I finally had my surgery today. I am not sick. I've had no nausea. My only concern is "gas"! Dr. Bauman was wonderful. They anesthesize you very quickly, so I knew very little. I recall nothing except the waiting/prep area. I wish I had this done years ago. I have a very supportive husband and daughter and they have been wonderful. I ordered several books about the Lap Band surgery and I carried one to show Dr. Bauman. He glanced at the table of contents and author, called his nurse into the exam room and he said to her "Order this" which I thought was sort of an honor. I'll be checking back with you and thank you for your interest!

Hi Tiffany. Yes, I go to these sessions and find them to be exceptionally good. In addition to this, many women bring in clothes that are too large for them now, and any member can have them. Wonderful way to hold down expenses.

Barbara- I am so glad that today was finally your day! It has to feel great to have the surgery behind you and the wonderful changes ahead. Sip, sip and sip some more.Then walk, walk and walk some more. Dr B. accepts NO excuses when it comes to getting your fluids/protein and walking in. Congrats! Sheila

Thanks, Sheila. I'm working on it but I can hardly get it in. Did you experience the after surgery gas pains? I there anything I can do for that. It makes me very uncomfortable.
